At Chandler Dentistry Center we offer the finest Zoom™ tooth whitening in Arizona and the office is convenient not only to Tempe (ASU) and Chandler but for patients from other areas of Arizona, just off Route 101.

Whitening your teeth is one of the easiest things you can do to improve your smile and boost your self-confidence. Imagine, a single bleaching procedure can counteract years of exposure to coffee, tea, red wine, cola and smoking, giving you the smile you've always dreamed of!

Zoom™ tooth whitening is an in-office procedure that involves the application of a bleaching solution to your teeth, that is then activated by heat and light. This in-office procedure typically lasts one hour and significantly whitens teeth after only one visit. Although stubborn stains may require another visit, results generally last for years and can be maximized with regular dental hygiene.

Unfortunately as we age, our teeth have a tendency to discolor. This is due to many factors including certain medications or foods that we eat on a daily basis which may discolor our teeth. The desire for whiter teeth is universal and so the advance of dental teeth whitening.

Before Teeth Whitening

After Teeth Whitening

Teeth bleaching at home, can be accomplished with a whitening gel and a custom-made whitening tray. During a visit to your dentist, you will be given a whitening gel and fitted with a custom-made whitening tray. This mouth tray can be worn at any time, most patients find it most comfortable wearing it during sleeping hours. Some manage very well during the day, but you cannot talk with the tray in your mouth. Your oral health care professional will advise you on the correct potency of gel and how many hours per day and how long to use it for best results based on your degree of tooth discoloration.

Even with today's advanced whitening techniques, not everyone's teeth will whiten with the same results. During the visit with your dentist, your situation will be carefully evaluated and you will be advised accordingly.

A word about the do-it-yourself bleaching kits and toothpastes... many professional dental organizations warn against using bleaching kits available at your local drug stores. The one-size-fits-all bleaching trays usually leave the sensitive gum tissue exposed to the bleaching gel, resulting in irritation. The gel may also damage the tooth's enamel and pulp chamber. Whitening toothpastes, which use abrasive substances to "polish" away stains, can damage your tooth enamel. Dentist-prescribed kits are your best option for teeth whitening, where your progress can be closely monitored for adverse reactions.
